For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ANIMAL. Any class of livestock, dogs and cats, and all species of nonhuman creatures, both domestic and wild, male and female, singular and plural.
ATTACK. Violent or aggressive physical contact with a person or animal, or violent or aggressive behavior that confines the movement of a person, including, but not limited to, chasing, cornering or encircling a person by an animal trained for ATTACK.
OWNER. Any person who owns, possesses, keeps, exercises control over, maintains, shelters, transports or sells an animal.
PERMIT. To allow or let happen and shall not include a state of mind requirement.
VACCINATION or VACCINATION FOR RABIES. The inoculation of a dog with a vaccine approved by the state for use in the prevention of rabies.
