§ 91.36 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   FIREARM. A pistol, revolver, shotgun, sawed off shotgun, rifle or sawed-off rifle or any device that could be used as a dangerous weapon from which is expelled a projectile by any force.
   NIGHT. The period from one-half hour after sundown to one-half hour prior to sunup.
   SPOTLIGHTING. Throwing or casting the rays of any spotlight, headlight or other artificial light on any highway or in any field, woodland or forest while having in possession a firearm by which protected wildlife may be killed. SPOTLIGHTING includes use of a night scope while having in possession a firearm by which protected wildlife may be killed during the night.
