The Building Inspector shall give such of his or her time to the performance of the duties of the office as may be required, and during his or her term of office the Building Inspector shall not personally inspect or be responsible for the inspection of any building built by the Building Inspector as contractor or being built by the Building Inspector in any capacity, including the furnishing of materials and/or labor and in which the Building Inspector has any interest.
