§ 32.03 SPECIAL DUTY OF POLICE DEPARTMENT AT FIRES.
   It is made the special duty of the Chief of Police and any policemen as may be spared from regular duty at the time to promptly answer all fire alarms and attend each fire and assist the Fire Chief and his Department in protecting the lives and property of the citizens and the property of the Fire Department, and in controlling and regulating traffic and maintaining order in accordance with the state laws and ordinances of this city.
