Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall, upon conviction of a first offense, be fined not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) plus court costs. Any person convicted of a subsequent violation of this chapter within two (2) years of a prior conviction under this chapter, shall be fined not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) plus court costs. Any person convicted of a third violation of this chapter within two (2) years of the initial conviction under this chapter, shall be fined not less than two hundred dollars ($200.00) plus court costs. These penalties shall be in addition to any other penalties prescribed by Kentucky traffic regulations and laws.
