(A) The provisions of these sections shall not apply to a golf cart that is not used on a public roadway except to cross a roadway while following a golf cart path on a golf course.
(B) The provisions of these sections shall not apply to the use of golf carts directly participating in and/or driving within parade(s) occurring within the city limits, as approved by the city. The provisions of these sections shall apply to all golf carts traveling to the parade but not directly participating in and/or driving within parade(s).
(C) The Transportation Cabinet may prohibit the operation of a golf cart on a public roadway designated under § 75.02 that crosses a state-maintained highway under its jurisdiction if the Transportation Cabinet determines that such prohibition is necessary in the interest of public safety.
