The Mayor of the city, subject to approval by the Board of City Council, may appoint two (2) alternate members of the Ethics Board, who may be called upon to serve when any regular member of the Ethics Board is unable to discharge his or her duties. An alternate member shall be appointed for a term of three (3) years. Alternate members shall meet all qualifications and be subject to all of the requirements of this chapter that apply to regular members.
