(A) An officer, employee, or municipal candidate may not request, or authorize, anyone else to request, that any subordinate, or potential future subordinate, participate, or not participate, in any political activity, including the making of a campaign contribution.
(B) An officer, employee, or municipal candidate may not engage in political activity for the city; while on duty; or in uniform; using city funds, supplies, vehicles, or facilities, in uniform; or during any period of time during which they are normally expected to perform services for the city, for which compensation is paid.
