741.01 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purposes of this chapter, certain terms are defined as follows:
      (a)    "Person" means individuals, associations of individuals, partnerships, corporations, societies and trusts.
   (b)    "Peddle" means to sell and make immediate delivery, or offer for sale and immediate delivery at any place within the City, other than from a fixed place of business, any goods, wares or merchandise, in possession of the seller.
   (c)    "Peddler" means any person who peddles, as herein defined.
   (d)    "Solicit" means to sell or take orders, or offer to sell or take orders at any place within the City, other than fixed place of business, for goods, wares or merchandise for future delivery, or for services to be performed.
   (e)    "Solicitor" means any person who solicits, as herein defined.

   (f)    "Fixed place of business" means a business operated and conducted from the same location, for a period of at least 120 continuous days in the City.
   (g)   “Itinerant vendor” or “transient dealer” means and includes any person, either principal or agent, who engages in or conducts in this City a temporary or transient business of selling goods, wares, and merchandise, with the intention of continuing in such business for a period of not more than 120 days and who, for the purpose of carrying on such business, hires, leases, or otherwise occupies either in whole or in part a room, building, or other structure for the exhibition and sale of such goods, wares and merchandise.
