705.08 PRESUMED RECEIPT OF COMPENSATION.
   If any person, firm or corporation is shown to have signed bail bonds or surety bonds in any criminal case regularly or, in any event, in the total sum of two thousand dollars ($2,000) in any calendar year, it shall be presumed that they have received compensation, and they shall have the burden of proving, by the preponderance of evidence, that no compensation was received by them.
