No person, firm or corporation, other than a surety company duly licensed under the laws of the State of Ohio, shall demand or receive, directly or indirectly, any compensation for becoming surety or providing surety on any bail bond, recognizance bond, appeal bond, supersedeas bond or any other court bond required to be filed in any criminal case, or criminal proceeding in the Mayor's Court of the City of Moraine, unless such person, firm or corporation is properly licensed in accordance with the provisions of this chapter.
