§ 50.01 SERVICE BEYOND CORPORATE BOUNDARY.
   (A)   Generally, water, sanitary sewer, storm water or any other municipal utility shall not be extended beyond the corporate boundary, nor shall property beyond the corporate boundary be served by these utilities.
   (B)   Service may be provided beyond the corporate boundary under the following circumstances:
      (1)   Under an agreement with another unit of government to provide service to a portion of their jurisdiction, the closest part of which is at least two (2) miles distant from the city limits at the time of the agreement; or
      (2)   Under an agreement with another unit of government to provide service within an orderly annexation designated area where annexation will occur within a specified time period.
   (C)   This section does not apply to the municipal electric utility, which shall not extend service beyond its present service territory nor seek to extend its service territory without City Council approval.
