§ 114.10 TAXICABS NOT TO BE DRIVEN BY CERTAIN PERSONS; IDENTIFICATION OF DRIVERS AND LICENSEES.
   (A)   No licensee shall permit any taxicab operated pursuant to his or her license to be driven by any person convicted of a driving under the influence charge, a crime of violence or of theft, a sex crime, or a crime of illegal use of drugs, or by a person who has been adjudged legally incompetent by reason of mental illness, mental deficiency or inebriety. It shall not be a defense to a violation of this section that the driver was an independent contractor or the employee of an independent contractor.
   (B)   Every person driving a taxicab licensed pursuant to this chapter shall identify himself or herself and the licensee of the taxicab to any customer upon demand of such customer.
