§ 30.02 COMPENSATION OF MAYOR AND COUNCIL MEMBERS.
   (A)   Salary. Pursuant to M.S. § 415.11, the City Council establishes the compensation of the Mayor and City Council as follows:
      (1)   Mayor: five thousand dollars ($5,000) per year.
      (2)   City Council Members: four thousand dollars ($4,000) per year.
   (B)   Additional compensation. There shall be no additional compensation for attendance at special council meetings, workshops, seminars, or other city related business functions. There shall be additional compensation for attendance at regular boards and commissions meetings when a council member is serving as the City Council representative on the board or commission. The rate of such compensation shall be set from time-to-time by the City Council and included in the annual salary schedule. This section does not preclude reimbursement for out of pocket expenses of the Mayor and City Council members pursuant to established city policy.
