(A) All excavations for service connection work shall be adequately guarded with barricades and lights so as to protect the public from hazard as determined by the Director.
(B) Streets, sidewalks, parkways and other public property disturbed in the course of the work shall be restored in a manner satisfactory to the city.
(C) The city shall be held harmless from all law suits, accidents and damage that may arise by reason of any opening in any street, alley, or public ground by the person performing the work.
