For the purposes of this title, certain terms or words used herein shall be interpreted as follows:
A. The word "person" includes an owner or representative of the owner, firm, association, organization, partnership, trust, company or corporation as well as an individual.
B. The present tense includes the future tense, the singular includes the plural and the plural includes the singular.
C. The words "shall", "must", and "will" are mandatory; the word "may" is permissive.
D. The singular number includes the plural, and the plural the singular.
E. All measured distances expressed in feet must be to the nearest one-twelfth (1/12) of a foot.
F. When calculating parking stall requirements, any fraction of over one-half (1/2) will constitute an additional parking space.
G. When calculating density, any fraction of a number will not constitute an additional dwelling unit.
H. For terminology not defined in this title, "Webster's Third New International Dictionary" or its most current descendent will be used to define such terms. (Ord. 2004-40, 1-3-2005)
