No person, except a state licensed house mover, shall remove, raise or support free of its foundation any building or structure within the limits of the city, and every person, before engaging in the occupation of moving, raising or supporting any building or structure, shall have and obtain such license therefor. The above shall not be construed as preventing the owners of a building or structure from personally raising, moving or supporting such building or structure upon their own premises.
Exception: A state license will not be required for anyone exempt from state license requirements as outlined within applicable Minnesota state statutes. (Ord. 2016-15, 8-22-2016)
