A. Joint Application: Registrants may jointly apply for permits to excavate or work in the right-of-way at the same place and time.
B. Shared Fees: Registrants who apply for permits for the same excavation, which the City does not perform, may share in the payment of the permit fee. In order to obtain a joint permit, registrants must agree among themselves as to the portion each will pay and indicate the same on their applications.
C. City Projects: Registrants, who join in a scheduled excavation performed by the City, whether or not it is a joint operation by two (2) or more registrants or a single application, shall secure a permit and pay fifty percent (50%) of the excavation fee, and degradation fee if applicable. The portion of the fee to be paid is fifty percent (50%) of the normal fee(s) unless the City determines that a higher or lower fee is more equitable based on the work being performed by the City and other permittee(s).
