5-2-3: RESTRICTED PARKING:
   A.   Parallel Parking: Vehicles on streets shall be parked in the direction of flow of traffic substantially parallel with the curbside wheels resting not more than eighteen inches (18") from the curb, or curb lines if there is no curb.
   B.   Adjacent To Fire Hydrants: No person shall park an unattended vehicle along any curb or edge of any roadway within the city within ten feet (10') either side of a line extended perpendicular to said curb or said edge of a roadway to a fire hydrant adjacent thereto.
   C.   Adjacent To Driveways: No person shall park an unattended vehicle within five feet (5') of either side of a public or private driveway where such public or private driveway enters or exits a public street or roadway within the city.
   D.   Semitrailers: No semitrailer may be dollied down, or detached from the truck-tractor on any public street, avenue, boulevard, or alley within the city.
   E.   Commercial And Oversized Vehicle Restrictions In Residential Districts: Certain commercial and oversized vehicles are restricted from parking on streets in residential districts for more than one hour, except for the purpose of loading or unloading, or when actively engaged in authorized construction, delivery or repair services in the immediate area in which the vehicle is parked. For the purpose of this section, restricted vehicles include:
      1.   Truck/trailer combinations, truck-tractors, and tractor/semitrailers.
      2.   Buses designed for sixteen (16) or more passengers, including the driver's seat.
      3.   Single unit, two (2) axle, six (6) tire vehicles.
      4.   Single unit vehicles consisting of three (3) or more axles having a gross vehicle weight of fourteen thousand (14,000) pounds or more.
      5.   Commercial, industrial, or agricultural equipment, including, but not limited to, nonlicensed off road equipment (tractors, payloaders, front end loaders, and similar equipment).
   F.   Inoperable/Junk Vehicles: No partially dismantled, nonoperating, wrecked or junked vehicle may be parked on any street or highway within the city.
   G.   Snow Removal District: The city council may designate a snow removal district in an area identified as high density with limited parking; such a district must be posted as such. (Ord. 2016-18, 11-14-2016)
