4-4-9: OFFENSES AGAINST THE PERSON:
   A.   Illegal Assaults: Whoever does any of the following commits an assault and may be sentenced, upon conviction, in accordance with the provisions of Section 1-4-2 of this Code:
      1.   Does an act with intent to cause fear in another of immediate bodily harm or death; or
      2.   Intentionally inflicts or attempts to inflict bodily harm upon another. (Ord. 475, 9-20-71)
   B.   Lying in Wait: No person shall lurk, lie in wait or conceal themselves in any house or other building or in any yard, motor vehicle, or other place with intent to do mischief, or pilfer or commit any crime or misdemeanor or to harass, annoy, frighten, or offend another person.
