§ 34.04 HIRING POLICY.
   (A)   It shall be the policy of the town that all employees hired by the town shall first be approved by the Town Council, including the replacement of existing positions and determinations as to the creation of all new positions. Any opening for employment within the town, whether through retirement, or other openings created for various reasons, shall first be reviewed by the Town Council to make a determination of whether or not the position needs to be filled by hiring a new employee, vacated, filled by an existing employee transfer or dealt with in any other manner the Town Council deems appropriate.
   (B)   This policy shall remain in effect until specifically vacated by the Town Council.
