§ 33.05 HOSPITAL AUTHORITY.
   (A)   A Hospital Authority is hereby created, and by virtue of the provisions of the state’s Hospital Authority Act (I.C. 5-1-4-1 et seq.) said Authority shall be a body corporate and politic to be known as the “Hospital Authority of Mooresville” for the purpose of financing, acquiring, constructing, equipping and leasing a project or projects to participating hospitals located in the town or refunding outstanding indebtedness of participating hospitals located in the town as authorized by state code, and for any and other purposes, together with full authority, all as authorized by said Act and any amendment thereof.
   (B)   The town authorizes the executive of the Town Council to appoint five residents of the town as the Directors of the Hospital Authority, pursuant to state code.
   (C)   The Hospital Authority shall conduct its organization and meetings pursuant to I.C. 5-1-4-1 et seq. and carry out the provisions of said Act in a speedy and timely fashion.
   (D)   Each Director to the Hospital Authority appointed by the Town Council President shall, within ten days from said appointment, and before entering upon his or her duties, take and subscribe an oath of office and cause the same to be filed with the Town Clerk-Treasurer and then proceed to have an organizational meeting for the election of officers, adoption of bylaws, rules and regulations and all other acts and duties required by his or her appointment, and as found necessary for the conduct of his or her proceedings and carrying out his or her duties as Directors of the Hospital Authority of the town.
