Any person, partnership or corporation desiring such a license shall make a verified application therefor in writing and shall pay the license fee hereinafter prescribed, and such application shall give the name of the application and his or her place of residence, the number and description of the vehicles proposed to be used by the applicant; and shall state the amount of liability insurance carried or to be carried by the applicant to ensure the payment of any final judgment that might be rendered for damages to persons for damages to person or property resulting from negligent or unlawful operation of the vehicles or either of them within the town.
