The Town Council directs the following authority to the Town Fire Chief.
(A) The Town Fire Chief is directed to exercise full control and authority of all Volunteer Fire Department members contracted with by the town during the course of their duties as contractual employees with the town and while the same are within the fire house or on a fire scene or exercising any of their duties as contractual employees of the town.
(B) This authority is intended to detail the chain of command showing the Fire Chief being in charge of all employees under him or her within the town and answering only to the Town Council.
