(A) The town shall notify all utilities providing water service to the town for fire protection that the charges for said fire protection service shall be recovered through the general water service applicable to the residents.
(B) Starting January 1, 1994, all water utilities which provide fire protection service to the town shall be responsible for adjusting their water service rates to allow for the recovery of the cost of fire protection service to be charged to the utility users, and no fire hydrant rental shall be paid by the town for fire protection services.
