(A) Pursuant to I.C. 9-22-1-30, the town establishes an abandoned vehicle account and fund with sufficient monies to carry out the purposes of this subchapter. All proceeds from the sale of abandoned vehicles or parts that are sold pursuant to this subchapter shall be deposited in the abandoned vehicle account after property allocation has been made for towing and storage charges. All costs incurred by the town in administering this subchapter shall be paid from the Abandoned Vehicle Fund. All monies remaining in the account at the end of the year remain in that account and do not revert to the General Fund.
(B) The Abandoned Vehicle Fund as established in division (A) above shall be governed by the provisions of I.C. 9-22-1-30.
