(A) The Town Park Superintendent shall be made a Deputy Town Marshal. His or her duties shall consist of the following:
(1) To enforce the closing hours of the town parks;
(2) To police the town parks for vandalism and to perform such other duties as may from time to time be conferred upon said Town Park Superintendent by the Town Chief of Police; and
(3) Arrest such person or persons found to be in violation of town ordinances concerning town parks, whereby such arrests are appropriate.
(B) The Park Superintendent shall use his or her police radio for park use only. He or she shall not perform any other police duties other than the official park duties unless so authorized by the Chief of Police.
