The Clerk-Treasurer is authorized to hire an assistant to aid in the carrying out of duties and to pay said assistant a sum of money each month during which said assistant is actually employed, not to exceed $80, to be paid from the Sewer Fund. Said employment is subject to the continuing approval of a majority of the members of the Town Council.
