(A) For the control of the flow of traffic, the Town Marshal or any Deputy Marshal of the Police Department are hereby authorized to cite such motor vehicle for such illegal parking and are further authorized to remove and tow away, or have removed and towed away by a commercial towing service, any such motor vehicle parked in any such metered area where the meter indicates that the motors vehicle has remained in such metered area for a period longer than permitted and are hereby authorized to move and tow away, or have removed and towed away by a commercial towing service any motor vehicle parked in violation of any posted sign.
