§ 52.066 PRETREATMENT OF WASTEWATER.
   (A)   Pretreatment of industrial wastes shall, in addition to the terms of this chapter, be governed by all applicable state and federal law including, but not limited to, 40 C.F.R. part 403 and, in addition, any other requirements established by the town and any subsequent state and federal guidelines and rules and regulations.
   (B)   Unpolluted water from air conditioners, cooling, condensing systems or swimming pools shall be discharged to a storm sewer, where it is available, or to a combined sewer approved by the town. Where a storm sewer is not available, discharge may be to a natural outlet approved by the town and by the state. Where a storm sewer, combined sewer or natural sewer is not available, such unpolluted water may be discharged to a sanitary sewer pending written approval by the town.
   (C)   Industrial cooling water, which may be polluted with insoluble oils or grease or suspended solids, shall be pretreated for removal of pollutants, and the resultant clear water shall be discharged in accordance with division (B) above.
