§ 10.99 GENERAL PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person, firm or corporation who violates any provision of this code for which another penalty is not specifically provided shall, upon conviction, be subject to the following:
      (1)   A fine not exceeding $2,500 for the first violation; and
      (2)   A fine not exceeding $7,500 for second and subsequent violations, except for violations of ordinances regulating traffic and parking.
   (B)   A separate violation shall be deemed committed upon each day during which a violation occurs or continues.
   (C)   A late payment fee of $25 from a defendant who is found to have committed a crime, violated a statute defining an infraction, violated an ordinance of the town or committed a delinquent act who is required to pay court costs including fees, a fine or civil penalty and is not determined by the court imposing the court costs, fine or civil penalty to be an indigent and fails to pay to the Clerk-Treasurer a cost, fine or civil penalty in full before the latter of the following: The end of the business day on which the court enters the conviction judgment; or the end of the period specified in a payment schedule set for the payment of court costs, fines or civil penalties under rules adopted for the operation of the court. Notwithstanding I.C. 33-37-2-2, the court may suspend a late payment fee if the court finds that the defendant has demonstrated good cause for failure to make a timely payment of court costs, fines or civil penalty.
