For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
ALUMINUM. Any empty disposable can or container whose construction is of the metallic element aluminum or an aluminum alloy.
GARBAGE. Any waste resulting from the handling, preparation, cooking and consumption of food, waste from the handling, storage and sale of produce; including all waste, all accumulation of animal, fruit or vegetable matter, meat, fish or fowl or any other by-products of these.
GLASS. A hard, amorphous, brittle substance made by fusing one or more of the oxides of silicon, boron or phosphorus with certain basic oxides.
PERSON. Any person, business entity, corporation, partnership or any other type of legal business entity or association.
PLASTIC. A container made out of an organic compound synthesized from hydrocarbons, proteins, cellulose or resins.
REFUSE. Trash of any kind, including paper, cartons, boxes, barrels, wood, excelsior, furniture, bedding, dirt, metals, tin cans, small quantities of rock and pieces of concrete, crockery and other mineral waste including tree trimmings and plants.
