§ 52.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person violating any provision of this chapter for which no specific penalty is prescribed shall be subject to § 10.99 of this code of ordinances.
   (B)   (1)   Any person found to be violating any provision of §§ 52.25 through 52.34 of this chapter, shall be served by the town with written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory corrections thereof. The offender shall, immediately and permanently cease all violations.
      (2)   Any person who shall continue any violation (other than a violation of § 52.26(B) of this chapter) beyond the time limit provided for in division (B)(1) above shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and on conviction thereof shall be fined in the amount not exceeding $500 for each violation. Each day in which any such violation shall continue shall be deemed a separate offense.
      (3)   Any person violating any of the provisions of §§ 52.25 through 52.34 of this chapter shall become liable to the town for any expense, loss or damage occasioned the town by reason of such violation.
      (4)   (a)   To be eligible to tap into the sewer system the property must be in the town limits. No exceptions will be made. All structure now hooked up outside the town limits will be grandfathered.
         (b)   No new taps will be permitted into the sewer line without approval from the Town Council. The person requesting the tap will be required to have a permit signed by the Town Council.
         (c)   Any sewer installation or connection without said permit shall carry a daily fine of $500 until such permit is obtained.
         (d)   Any line installed without proper inspection by the town inspector will carry a daily fine of $50 until the line is dug up and inspected according to the above person’s expense.
         (e)   Sewer line size and quality will be according to Town Council approval.
         (f)   Any infiltration or inflow of an individual sewer line will need to be corrected. The Town Council will give 60 days to repair (weather permitting) with a daily fine of $50 thereafter until the problem is corrected.
