9-1-4: DISCONTINUANCE OF SERVICE; DISCONNECT AND RECONNECT FEES:
In the event any customer shall fail to pay his utility bill on or before the twentieth day of the month in which it is due, the water service, the electric service and the garbage service to such customer shall be discontinued forthwith and without notice, and a fee set and established by resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Mooreland Public Works Authority and approved and adopted by resolution of the Town Board of Trustees, and posted for inspection in the Office of the Town Clerk-Treasurer shall be entered against the account of the customer. Water service, electric service and/or garbage service to any such discontinued account or customer shall not be reinstated or resumed until all such sums due the Town, all indebtedness of all kinds, together with said fee, shall have been paid in full. Reconnection after hours or on holidays shall incur a fee set and established by resolution of the Board of Trustees of the Mooreland Public Works Authority and approved and adopted by resolution of the Town Board of Trustees, and posted for inspection in the Office of the Town Clerk-Treasurer.
