8-2-6: STREET TREE SPECIES PERMITTED:

The following list constitutes the official street tree species for the Town. No species other than those included in this list may be planted as street trees without written permission of the Town Tree Board.

Small trees:

Bradford pear

Flowering crabapple

Flowering dogwood

Hawthorn

Purple leaf plum

Redbud

Medium trees:

Bald cypress

Chinese pistachio

Golden raintree

Honey locust

Japanese pagoda tree

Kentucky coffee tree

Osage orange (male, thornless)

Pine oak

Red mulberry (male)

River birch

Large trees:

American sycamore

Black walnut

Burr oak

Chinese lacebark elm

Cottonwood (cotton less)

Green ash

Hackberry

London planetree

Pecan

Red oak
