A. License Required: It shall be unlawful for any person or firm to engage in the business or occupation of trimming, pruning, treating, or removing street or park trees within the Town without first applying for and procuring a license. (2011 Code § 1-93)
B. License Fee: The license fee shall be as provided in the fee schedule adopted by resolution of the Town Board of Trustees and shall be paid in advance; provided, however, that no license shall be required of any public service company or Town employee doing such work in the pursuit of his public service endeavors. C. Bond Requirements: Before any license shall be issued, each applicant shall first file evidence of possession of liability insurance in the minimum amounts of twenty five thousand dollars ($25,000.00) for bodily injury and five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) for property damage indemnifying the Town or any person injured or damaged resulting from the pursuit of such endeavors as herein described.
