A. Violation; Penalties: Any person, firm or corporation who violates any provision of this title shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, shall be punishable as provided in section 1-4-1 of this Code. However, penalty may not be greater than that established by statute for the same offense. (2011 Code § 21-36; amd. 2017 Code)
B. Court Costs: The Municipal Court shall assess court costs in all matters in which an offender is found guilty or pleads guilty or no contest to the offense. Such costs shall be set at the maximum amount allowed by the State legislature. (Ord. 325, 8-8-2016)
