5-3-3: RESIDENTIAL BURNING:
Residential (one- or two-family dwellings) burning is allowed within the corporate limits of the Town with the following restrictions and conditions:
   A.   Burning is only allowed to be conducted within outdoor fireplaces constructed of steel, concrete, clay or other noncombustible material. Said fireplaces shall be located over noncombustible surfaces located not less than fifteen feet (15') from any structure.
   B.   The Fire Department shall have full authority to extinguish any fire that may create or add to a hazardous or objectionable situation, with the discretion of the Fire Department, or becomes offensive due to smoke emissions.
   C.   Outdoor open flame cooking shall be permitted within the corporate limits of the Town so long as said open flame cooking is contained in a device to be operated over noncombustible surfaces and not less than ten feet (10') from any structure. (Ord. 323, 4-11-2016; amd. 2017 Code)
