(A) Assault.
(1) No person shall intentionally assault another by the unlawful offer of corporal injury under such circumstances as to create a well-founded fear of imminent peril.
(2) No person shall attempt to commit the crime of battery upon another.
(B) Battery. No person shall forcefully, violently or offensively touch another person or something closely connected with the person of another with or without any resultant injury provided that the touching was intentional.
