§ 151.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person who violates any of the provisions of §§ 151.01 et seq. shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $500 or by imprisonment in the county jail for not to exceed 90 days or by both the fine and imprisonment.
   (B)   Violation of any of the provisions of §§ 151.20 et seq., or failure to comply with any of their requirements, shall be deemed a municipal civil infraction, as defined by state statute, and shall be punishable by a civil fine of not less than $500, along with costs that may include all expenses, direct and indirect, to which the township has been put in connection with the municipal civil infraction.
      (1)   A violator of §§ 151.20 et seq. shall also be subject to such additional sanctions and judicial orders as are authorized under Michigan law.
      (2)   Each day that a violation of §§ 151.20 et seq. continues to exist shall constitute a separate violation of this subchapter.
      (3)   Nothing in §§ 151.20 et seq. shall prevent the Board or a private citizen from taking such additional lawful action as is necessary to restrain or prevent any violation of this subchapter or the Michigan Land Division Act.
