§ 52.22 PERMIT REQUIRED.
   (A)   The drilling, deepening or modification of a well within the city shall require an occupant to apply and obtain a written permit to drill prior to drilling, deepening or modifying any well.
   (B)   The application for a drilling permit, among other information, shall include the following:
      (1)   Plans and specifications for the drilling, deepening or modification;
      (2)   Exact location of the well;
      (3)   Owner or occupant of the property;
      (4)   The person drilling, deepening or modifying the well;
      (5)   Applicable procedure to seal or safeguard the well from contaminates; and
      (6)   Other such pertinent information as the Superintendent of Public Works or his or her authorized personal representative may require.
   (C)   The permit shall be signed by the occupant or driller.
   (D)   The Superintendent of Public Works shall review the application for permit to drill and may, in his or her discretion, approve the same or request review by the City Council.
