§ 153.128 PARKING SPACE REQUIREMENTS.

   For the purpose of this subchapter, the following parking space requirements shall apply:

Commercial
Automotive service and repair garages	One for each two gasoline pumps and two for each service bay
Banks, financial institutions and similar uses	One for each 250 square feet of floor area
Grocery stores, supermarkets	One for each 100 square feet of sales area
Hotels, motels	One per each sleeping room plus one for each four employees
Offices, public or professional administration or service buildings	One for each 400 square feet of floor area
Retail stores	One for each 300 square feet of floor area
All other types of business or commercial uses permitted in any business district	One for each 350 square feet of floor
Institutional
Churches and places of other religious assembly	One for each five seats
Libraries, museums, art galleries	One for each 400 square feet of floor area
Medical and dental clinics	One for every 200 square feet of floor area of examination, treating room office and waiting room
Manufacturing
All types manufacturing, storage and wholesale uses permitted in any manufacturing district	One for every two employees (on the largest shift for which the building is designed) and one for each motor vehicle maintained on the premises or used in the business
Express, parcel delivery and freight terminal	Same as the above
Recreational or entertainment
Auditoriums, sports arenas, theaters and similar uses	One for each four seats
Bowling alleys	Four for each alley or lane plus one additional space for each 100 square feet of the area used for restaurant, cocktail lounge or similar use
Dance floors, skating rinks	One for each 100 square feet of floor area used for the activity
Dining rooms, restaurants, taverns and the like	One for each 200 square feet of floor area
Outdoor swimming pools, spas, gymnasiums, fitness clubs	One for each five participants, capacity plus one for each four seats or one for each 30 square feet of floor area used for seating purposes, whichever is greater
Residential
Apartments or multi-family dwellings	Two for each unit
Mobile home parks	Two for each unit
Rooming/boarding houses	One for each sleeping room or one for each permanent occupant
Single-family or two-family dwellings	Two for each unit
