§ 150.26 ROOFS.
   All the structures, whether new or old, to be repaired, altered or changed on the outside shall have a roof constructed of fireproof materials, or may have a lumber roof which shall be covered by fireproof materials, and the fronts of such buildings or structures facing on any street may be constructed in the same manner or with the same materials if in the judgment of the Mayor and Council such materials will prove resistant to fire, or the spreading of fires, all of which shall be designated or shown in the specifications and plans.
