Section 5.01 Appointment.

The Mayor shall appoint the Director of Finance with the advice and consent of Council by two-thirds of its membership. The Director of Finance need not be a resident of the Municipality or the State at the time of appointment, but within six months after appointment, shall reside within the Municipality unless such residence requirement is waived by Council.
