It shall be the duty of the owners of all buildings located in the Village, including without limitation, dwellings, houses, multiple family dwellings, rooming houses, hotels, office buildings, commercial and retail establishments, and all other buildings or units, to place assigned numbers and maintain them as herein provided. It shall be unlawful for any person, whether owner or occupant of the building, to place, maintain or allow to remain thereon any number other than the one required by this ordinance. The cost of the numbers required herein shall be borne by the property owner.
