933.07 BULK WATER SALES AND SWIMMING POOLS.
   (a)   Bulk water for non-potable use may be sold by the Water Department at the discretion of the Village Manager. The Water Treatment Plant provides bulk water customers with a means of filling tanks or tank trucks and the Water Department may install temporary metering points at fire hydrants for the purpose of metering water for bulk sales. The charge for water for this purpose shall be as follows:   
      Effective January 1, 2008:
$30.00 Minimum Charge for up to 5,000 gallons.
      $5.00 per thousand gallons of additional parts measured.
A $50.00 fee shall be charged for all temporary meter placements. All hydrant meters shall be equipped with a backflow prevention device.
Additional costs of labor and material will be charged if applicable.
   (b)   Local swimming pools may be filled initially, with no sewer charge, by the Water Department or the Fire Department at the discretion of the Village Manager or his designee. The charge for water for this purpose will be $30.00 for up to 5,000 gallons and $5.00 per thousand gallons or part of as metered plus any labor or additional material costs. Additionally, a mileage charge of $2.00 per mile will be assessed to all deliveries outside of the corporation limits. The charge will be round trip starting and ending at the department’s building. (Request for such service will be made at least five (5) days in advance). Subsequent to the initial billing all water used for swimming pools will be obtained from customers tap and will be subject to established water and sewer charges. (Ord. 2074. Passed 12-17-07.)
