5-3-2: CURFEW:
   A   Specified Hours; Exception: No person under the age of eighteen (18) years shall be or remain upon any of the streets, alleys or public places or vacant lots at night between the hours of eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M. and five o'clock (5:00) A.M. the following day, unless such person is accompanied by a parent, guardian or other person having legal custody of such minor person, or unless the employment or lawful business of such minor makes it necessary to be upon the streets, alleys or public places between such specified hours, in which event such minor person shall obtain a permit from the chief of police to be upon the streets, alleys or public places during such hours. For minors attending school, civic or church functions, the hours of curfew shall be eleven o'clock (11:00) P.M., or one hour past the time the attended function ends, to five o'clock (5:00) A.M. the following day.    B   Responsibility Of Guardian: It shall be the responsibility of the legal guardians of any person under the age of eighteen (18) to ensure that all provisions of subsection A of this section are met. (1978 Code § 13-313; amd. 1996 Code)
