§ 34.201 PURCHASING AGENCY AND AGENTS.
   (A)   Pursuant to IC 5-22-2-25, the Monticello Board of Works and Public Safety (the "BOW") is designated as the authorized purchasing agency for the city.
   (B)   Pursuant to IC 5-22-2-26, the following individuals are authorized to act as purchasing agents for the purchasing agency in the administration of the duties of the purchasing agency for the city:
      (1)   Mayor;
      (2)   Clerk-Treasurer;
      (3)   Fire Chief;
      (4)   Police Chief;
      (5)   Superintendent of Parks and Recreation;
      (6)   Superintendent of Streets;
      (7)   Superintendent of Wastewater Treatment Plant; and
      (8)   Superintendent of Water Utility.
   (C)   Considerations for purchasing supplies may include:
      (1)   Being furnished in a timely manner;
      (2)   Minimum standards of quality;
      (3)   Reasonably available quantities; and
      (4)   Availability of repair and servicing after purchase.
