The number of occupants of a golf cart shall be limited to a maximum of four persons, or less, as permitted by the available manufactured seating capacity for such golf cart. The operator and occupants must be properly seated with no part of the body of the operator or any occupant extending outside the perimeter of the golf cart while the golf cart is in operation; provided however, the operator shall use proper hand signals when required. No person under the age of three years shall be permitted to be an occupant of a golf cart.
