Barriers or pedestrian protection fences required by this subchapter shall meet the recommended minimum requirements prepared by the City Engineer, and currently on file in the office of the City Clerk-Treasurer or, in the alternative, shall be erected and maintained according to such plans and specifications as are approved, in writing, by the City Engineer.
